Directors of De Villiers were appointed over two large (7,000 sq ft and 5,500 sq ft) part built houses located in Grafty Green near Maidstone with a bank debt of £2.3m.
The agreed strategy culminated in the project management of the larger house to completion including obtaining 10-year build warranties and securing building control sign off. This facilitated the sale of the property at a price above its stated market value.
The smaller development was sold on the open market by private treaty as a development site maximising the total receipts to the Bank without the need to further finance development costs.
