Richard Flint BA, PG Dip Estate Mgmt Property

Richard has over 30 years’ experience providing bespoke property solutions to occupiers, developers, secured lenders, investors and insolvency practitioners. His consulting and transaction expertise has focused on large complex portfolios and single assets providing option analysis, risk assessment reviews and exit strategies.

More recently Richard has been involved in a number of Receivership appointments across the commercial and residential buy to let sectors, working with challenger and bridging banks helping them to navigate the challenges that the pandemic has thrown up in what was an already uncertain and unpredictable market environment.

Previously Richard was one of four directors in GVA’s London Restructuring & Recovery team advising secured lenders and insolvency practitioners on a wide variety of corporate and distressed asset situations. Prior to that Richard played a prominent role in both the Deloitte and Grant Thornton property consultancy teams and led Grant Thornton’s disposal strategy management service line working closely with insolvency and turnaround teams to devise and implement exit strategies to maximize value for distressed asset situations. In addition, Richard provided advice and assistance on a wide range of independent business reviews and corporate finance due diligence exercises.

Richard has two daughters and a son who keep him fairly occupied principally as a taxi and banking service. Richard is a keen rugby enthusiast and enjoys watching Saracens and England play whenever he can.
